Whether you're an author, blogger, musician, artist, business, organization, or any other business oriented kind of person, you will need to know the best times to post on social media; because social media is the new way of advertising and it is vital to any business. Companies are spending millions on social media marketing and the research thereof. If successful businesses are doing it, this is something the rest of us should get a grasp on. The TV era is phasing out and social media is the new place to direct your marketing campaigns.

I've taken the time to cross reference and research what are the optimal times to post on each social media outlet. I've concluded that Facebook is where it's at throughout the majority of the day, but there are some other markets such as Google+, Twitter, and Linkedin that you're missing out on if you don't get involved. Not to mention, you will be missing out on some SEO.

There's a lot of places with infographics in regard to social media times. While they can be very informative, it's a bit confusing when you don't have the times and social networks organized onto a calendar. So, because I had so much to keep track of with all these social networks for other companies as well as my own , I made a calendar to keep things organized and simple. However, instead of keeping it all to myself, I figured I would share it with you.

I made it easy so you can have a reference every day of the week at each time of day. For example, if it's Monday at 9am, I can look at the calendar and see what social network would be best to post to at that time. Another example of how this calendar can be put to good use is to find the optimal times to post on each network for each day of the week, and then schedule your posts accordingly. This thing saves a world of confusion and gives direction on where to post, and when.
